Source : wznn.blogfa.com

Young Zoroastrians Camp 2008 was held over Labor Day weekend at Silverwood Lake campgrounds in Hesperia,California. Campers of ages 6-17 totaled near 50, counselors near 10, while parents added up to another 40 attendees, for a total of about 100 Zartoshti’s camping in the woods together.

The camp was overflowing with exciting, fun-filled events. The campers had a day at the lake where they had a boat building competition using only cardboard, plastic and tape, to see who would stay afloat longest and paddle out the furthest. The teams competed in a scavenger hunt that had a little fear factored into it and ended in one of our many water balloon fights. Campers also enjoyed dancing and singing along with the parents.

Young Zoroastrians camp is held with the dedication and hard work of Firdaus Irani, his family and all others who help to make for a successful camp every summer.
