In the name of Ahura Mazda, the Life and Intelligence Giving Almighty
Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deed.
Righteousness is the only Path to follow.

With Salutations to the Pious Souls of the Messengers, from God, the Intelligent Seekers, the Seekers of Truth and all the Martyrs who have strived, throughout the history, to spread the Message of God and to further the cause of Humanity amongst Human Beings. And:-
With Salutations to the Pious Soul of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, and his Worthy Successor Ayattolla Ali Khameneyee, to all the Government Authorities and Religious Persons, who are, gathered at this magnificent gathering.

To start with I wish to thank HojjatolEslam Seyyed MohammadAli Abtahi, on behalf of myself and my colleagues at the Anjoman e Moobedan e Zartoshti e Iran for arranging such a grand and auspicious gathering and have invited me to speak, the viewpoints of my Religion on the subject of “Let us learn to live together”.

Ashoo Zarathushtra, the ancient Iranian Messenger, in His book the Holy Gathas declares :-

Muktad and Noruz celebration by Parsi Zoroastians in Viginia-USA

A group of Parsi Zoroastians in Mclean-Virginia celebrated Muktad and Noruz. The ceremony was held and organized by ZAMWI (Zoroastrian society of Washington D.C.) on August 9th.

According to Zoroastrian Studies Muktad is 10-day festival from 26th day of Spendarmad mah to the 5th Gatha day (in Parsi Calendar) and it is believed that the spirits (fravahrs) of the dead visit their dear ones in the physical world during this period. In the ceremony the priests perform special rituals over cooked food, fruits and fresh flowers.
